This is truly a Fairy Tale - - Angie was born in Maryland
on the Patuxant River Naval Air base where her father served in the
Navy. After her father’s term was up they moved back to Ohio where all
her immediate family still reside today.
Six years ago Angie wanted to go bass fishing on the famous big “O” so she called a Marina and booked a guide trip. Her guide for the day was 8-time B.A.S.S. Classic Qualifier Capt. Chet Douthit. They had a wonderful time catching “Bucketmouth” bass for which Okeechobee is famous. The following year Angie came back and requested Chet as her guide to take her fishing again. The two had another great day of fishing and conversation, so much in fact that Chet had asked Angie to come back for a visit. Three weeks and six days later she arrives at the airport where Chet is waiting to welcome her back and to propose marriage. Since then Angie has made Clewiston, Florida her home where she too has become a B.A.S.S. Pro and Capt. on Lake Okeechobee guiding out Clewiston Florida. Whether its artificial or shiner fishing Angie will ensure an enjoyable, informative, exciting day on beautiful Lake Okeechobee. |
