Liability Release: In signing this agreement, I hereby release Wilgreen Tournament Fishing Circuit, its officers, sponsors, agents, and employees, from any and all damages, claims, demands, cost, or expenses relating to injury of any persons or damage to any property which I may cause by reason of participating in or in connection with any fishing event.

Covenant Not To Sue and Waiver of Subrogation: I further agree that I will never sue Wilgreen Lake Marina, Bait and Tackle for damages on account of any injury damage that I suffer or cause whether known now or which may develop in the future in connection with this or any other Tournament Fishing event. I expressly agree to indemnify and hold Wilgreen Lake Marina harmless from any liability whatsoever, including court cost and attorney’s fees arising with respect to such action. I understand that in waiving my rights to sue Wilgreen Lake Marina, I am waiving the right to recovery from Wilgreen Lake Marina of my insurance carrier for any claims they may pay on my behalf. I further understand that by signing this agreement, I waive any rights my heirs or relatives have or may have to sue Wilgreen Lake Marina for liability.

Liability insurance: I further state that I understand that I should maintain liability insurance on the boat I will use in any Tournament Fishing event.

Rules for bass tournaments are:

Wilgreen Bass Classic: All teams that finish the season in the top 25 points shall be eligible to fish the Classic Tournament. The Classics is a 1-day tournament. The 2006 Classic Tournament will be held on November 4 at WILGREEN Lake. There is a $100.00 entry fee for the Classic Tournament. Entry fee includes the big bass pot. All Entry Must Be Received By October 31st. Boat numbers will be Drawn on Tournament morning.

2. Substitutes: NO OUTSIDE SUBSTITUTES WILL BE PERMITTED AT THE CLASSIC TOURNAMENT. If your declared partner cannot fish the Classic you may fish with your substitute you used during the year or fish by yourself. You must notify Marina prior to tournament date.

3. Limits: This is a five (5) ‑fish‑limit (Per Team or when fishing alone) tournament. Anyone bringing in more than five fish to the scales will have their sack culled and be disqualified for that tournament. All culling must be done on the water – not on the bank.

4. No Live Bait: Only artificial lures can be used in all tournaments. The use of pork rind is permitted.

5. No Trolling: Trolling with the use of a combustible engine as a method of fishing is prohibited.

6. Boat and Motor: Boats must have required Coast Guard safety equipment and must have a motor within rating limits. Must maintain IDLE SPEED!

7. Live well Inspection: Boat must have a live well, either built into the boat or portable. Live wells must have some type of pump or circulator to keep fish alive. All live wells will be checked on the ramp prior to launching the boat.

8. Short Fish Penalties: All fish brought to weigh-in must be of legal size (12 inches Minimum). Short fish will be culled from your sack and your largest fish will be culled from the remaining fish. The Official Measuring Board is the Gator Grip Professional Series Boards. A Gator Grip Professional Series Board will be available at weigh-in as a courtesy board. 

9. Ties: Ties for big bass will split big bass pot. Ties for places will be awarded to the team with most fish, if still a tie will be broke by the big bass.

10. Dead fish Penalty: ¼ of 1 pound will be deducted from your total weight. Only one dead fish Can be weighed in per team. A dead fish will not be weighed for the big fish pot. Fish that appears altered or mangled shall be the tournament director’s decision to weigh or not to weigh the fish.

11. Late to weigh-in: There will be a deduction of 1 lb. per minute of your total weight for every
minute late to weigh-in. After 15 minutes past weigh-in teams are disqualified.

12. Life Preserver: Life preservers are recommended, but not mandatory.

13. Off-Limits: There will be no fishing behind the dock of the main marina. Teams may cast to the waters without gaining entry. Any team fishing in the off-limits areas will be disqualified from the tournament. Teams may not fish closer than 50 yards to another competitor unless given permission.

14. Pre-Fishing: The lake will not be close to pre-fishing. You can not fish the same day of the tournament.

15. Sportsmanship: All contestants are required to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and conservation. Drunkenness shall be cause for immediate disqualification.

16. Leaving Your Boat: Competitors shall remain with the partners in the boat at all times during the tournament, Except in the event of sickness or brief excursions for “nature calling”, a severe storm or other such hazards. If for any reason a team decides to leave the tournament waters early, competitors must deposit their starting position card into the collection box, located on the weigh-in station prior to leaving the marina.

17. Cheating: Anyone caught cheating in any tournament event will be immediately barred from fishing in any Wilgreen event.

18. Protest: All protest must be submitted in writing to the tournament director before the close of weigh-in. Verbal protest will not be accepted.

19. State Rules: All state rules and regulations must be followed. The tournament director shall determine the penalty for breaking a State rule or regulations. The tournament director decision is final.

20. Insurance: All members are encouraged to have liability insurance on any boat they might use.

21. Refusal Of Membership: We reserve the right to refuse membership or entry into any of Wilgreen’s events.

Wilgreen Classic Entry Fee

There is a $100.00 entry fee for the Wilgreen Classic Tournament. Entry fee includes the big bass pot. All Entrees Must Be in By October 31st. Boat numbers will be randomly drawled on the day of the tournament.

Wilgreen will hold the Classic to the Top 25 accepting teams.

The only exception is if the reining champion does not qualify they will be able to defend their title.
