We take 12 people up to Funny Moose Lodge on the Kenai River 2 times a year.
King Salmon in June and Silver Salmon in August.
Group Pricing is $795 per person for 3 guided fishing trips and 7 nights in
a comfortable cabin. $995 per person for 5 guided trips and 7 nights in a
comfortable cabin. Fly outs available for $325.00 per person. You fly
across the Cook Inlet to fish one of several rivers. You will see bears,
sheep, goats, whales and other wild animals so bring a camera.
Trips can be rearranged to include fly in if you wish instead of a guided
trip on a boat but the cost is higher.
The times we choose are based on when there are fewer people on the river
and more opportunity to catch good fish.
Cabins are basic.. they have a bed and kitchen with stove only. You buy your
own food and provide transport too the lodge by rental car.. or work with
the group if you wish to rent a vehicle. Linens, and towels are provided as
are bed linens.
With Airfare, Car Rental Shared, and Food you should be able to go for right
at $1700.00 total.. but you can spend much more if you like. You could get
by on less if you eat your catch and skimp.
Bring your own tackle or rent rods from George at the lodge to fish the
river at the lodge. There is an excellent tackle store in Soldotna, (See
Video) .
There is a Golf Course Near By for days when you catch that limit early.

are located on the Kenai River, a short scenic drive south of
Anchorage. Our peak season is May 24-September 13.
The
Kenai Peninsula is the home of world record salmon, halibut and
trout surrounded by limitless sightseeing opportunities, such as
glaciers, whales, bears and other Alaskan wildlife. In addition to our self catering
standard cabin accommodations with guided fishing and sightseeing
packages, we offer self catering packages with deluxe cabin
accommodations. Groceries are readily available in the nearby towns
of Kenai and Soldotna, as are many restaurants and other services.
For
those not interested in preparing their own meals, we offer vacation
packages in our lodge with an option for full meal service. We offer
these packages at affordable budget friendly rates.
All
our river guides, halibut charter captains, and pilots are mature,
Alaska resident professionals, providing you with boats, float
planes and top notch equipment for your fishing or sightseeing
adventure.
We book on a Saturday to Saturday
