My Hilton Head Island / Bluffton area fishing started in 1962 when I was a child. We moved from New Orleans, LA. where my dad took me on
every fishing trip. Some times it was my dad and granddad in the boat with a 3 HP outboard.
This was big stuff considering I have photos of me in diapers holding fish. It is in my blood. We moved to Atlanta, GA. when I was six. This is where I caught my first Rainbow Trout, Chain Pickerel and Yellow Perch. I was in heaven. My next stroke of fishing luck was my neighbor Captain Buddy Hester. One of the pioneers of offshore fishing Hilton Head. After Buddy, the credit goes to Captain Eddy Carter, father of the famous billfish Captain Bubba Carter.. I cut my teeth as a charter boat mate with Captain Eddy on his boat Point Comfort. I got my first United State Coast Guard license in the early 80's then quickly moved up the rake to a US Merchant Marine Officer. I charter fished this area throughout the '80's and into the '90's then moved onto big game fishing the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico. Here credit goes to Captain Howard Donhauser, My friend and mentor. I took my knowledge of boats, the water and navigation with Howard's help and put it to work as a successful yacht broker. I am now returning to my passion for fishing. |

I will supply bait, tackle, fuel, ice, fishing license and know how. They need to bring what they want to eat and drink, suntan lotion (not spray) and white sole shoes.
